Hola, I like databases, they seem to be at the heart of everything – although perhaps my perspective is a tad biased.

When cloud computing came along I decided to move my website there (that’s here), from my gorgeous shoe-box web server (link).

But with diminishing returns only copied my blog posts so far back. Missing from here then, is most of my Oracle and all of my Windows admin posts.

Thank goodness we’re living in “The Google Age”. Where scores of people will have captured similar experiences.

I live in ‘Middle England’ with my wife and daughter, and when not working (or reading about work), enjoy fishing, narrow-boats, and travel.

I’ve a few decades of experience, and have recently updated my data architecture qualification to TOGAF 9.2.
